Freestanding Aluminum Truss Structure
This freestanding aluminum truss structure is designed as a clean, professional overhead box frame for events, productions, trade shows, lighting installs, video wall support, branding displays, and temporary event environments.
The structure includes a 20' x 25' rectangular top frame supported by 14' vertical truss legs. Each leg is mounted on a larger base plate to provide a wider footprint, a cleaner finished look, and better support for the overall structure.
Included Services and Equipment
- All rigging equipment rental

- Four 25' hand-crank equipment stands / Genie ST-25 lifts
- 20' x 25' rectangular top truss frame

Truss Structure Details
The top frame is built as a rectangular box using aluminum truss sections.
The top rectangle includes:
- Two 20' sides
- Two 25' sides
- Four corner blocks or proper 90-degree truss corners
A common build using standard truss lengths would include:
- Four 10' truss sections for the 20' sides
- Four 10' truss sections for the 25' sides
- Two 5' truss sections for the 25' sides
- Four 90-degree corner blocks or truss corner connections
Vertical Legs
The structure includes four 14' vertical truss legs, one at each corner of the frame.
These legs may be built using custom 14' truss sections or standard truss lengths, such as a 10' section plus a 4' section per leg, depending on the final truss system being used.
Larger Base Plates
Each vertical leg is mounted on a larger base plate at the bottom. These base plates help create a wider footprint and give the structure a more stable, professional appearance.
Final base plate size, ballast, and load capacity should be confirmed based on the event location, floor surface, indoor or outdoor use, and the total weight of any lighting, video, signage, or production equipment attached to the structure.
